Defender joins Carlisle United on loan ... QPR defender Max Ehmer has joined Sky Bet League One side Carlisle United on loan until the start of next month. A regular in Rangers Elite Development Squad this season, the German centre-back made his first team debut earlier this season in QPRâs 2-0 win against Middlesbrough. Ehmer, 21, has previously spent time on loan at Stevenage, Preston North End and Yeovil Town. Maxâs loan in Cumbria runs until 1st December and he could make his debut at Brunton Park on Tuesday night when Carlisle host Wolverhampton Wanderers. Sensible move it seems to me. My lad tells me that Onyewu is really good, so Max wouldn't have got much of a look in I'd imagine.
Fair enough. It would be nice though, just once, for us to have a kid who is too good to send out on loan, who we feel compelled to give a chance to straight away.
