Looks like the little Mexican is on his way out. Don't know what went wrong there. There does seem to be a question mark over his attitude, especially given his suspension from the Mexican national team. It's a shame because at the begeinning of the season he looked like a real talent, a versatile midfielder/left back who could weigh in with a few goals.
He did look promising but I feel he has just been unlucky that others have turned it on and he faded into the background. If he goes, hopefully he will be replaced by a similar type of player who can play in a couple of positions as back up to the main squad, I think we are well covered just now in central midfield so unless we pay big bucks to bring in real quality which will be fighting for a start every week then a flexible squad player as a replacement will suffice.
Early doors he looked the pick of the new bhoys so it's a bit of a shame. But we have ample cover in midfield and at RB so probably best for all if he moves on.
I think he started well and started to think he was super ****. Others just knuckled down and worked harder and he never managed to get back in the side. If he doesn't move on and works hard I would be willing for him to stay not really done a lot wrong just adapting to life at a big club with a big squad and learning that you need to pull your weight.
