Been good so far and some good games in the next round.

I'm gonna go for Chelsea or 'Pool provided they don't meet each other on the way - they will be too good for the cannon fodder and I think the clubs playing in Europe won't field full first teams unless they are in the semis ... City will likely play a very strong team at United due to 'local' pressures

No way will Poch put out his strongest side. He even played a B-ish side in last season's Europa knock-out phase, in order to save the first XI for the league - much to the annoyance of some of us fans, who really wanted to have a go at the Europa.

Klipperty will play his strongest side, I think we can all agree on that; but Poch won't.

As for the score... yes, your first XI ought to beat our C team. I suspect that Poch may mix our B & C sides, which will give you a decent run. We'll be better than Brentford Town were, mind. But you should still win.

I think Poch has his eye on bigger things, this season. Plus, he wants to develop as many of the youngsters as he can, and the Mickey Mouse Cup is a great way to do that.

 

Poch has already declared that the same players that played last night will play against your lot. I'll probably watch from behind the sofa

It's Luvvy and Sky I'd feel sorry for. Despite their being Mousers, I've grown rather partial to them.

I thought we'd already won this. No idea why, but I've always been convinced the League Cup ends in September!
