Celtic defender Efe Ambrose sets his sights on a move to England

THE Nigerian centre back says he is happy at Celtic but would like to move to England having been linked with a number of clubs in the January transfer window.

EFE AMBROSE admits it is only a matter of time before he swaps Celtic for the English Premier League. (Does he?)The Nigeria centre-back has been linked with a big-money move to the likes of West Brom and Crystal Palace, while Fulham were interested in signing him during last month’s transfer window.

And Ambrose says he would welcome the chance to test himself against England’s finest in the future.

He said: “The English Premier League is a well-celebrated and followed league back home in Africa. “It has attracted a lot of big players, and I wouldn’t mind playing there at some point. “But I am happy at Celtic who are one of the best clubs in the world. “There was no contact from Fulham or any EPL side in this winter transfer window that I know of. “But when a player is being linked strongly to such a league, it shows that I am being watched and appreciated. I give God all the glory.”

As long as we reach the group stages of the CL nobody at Celtic gives two ****s who plays.

Celtic are a club with zero ambition. Why any **** would want to play for us for longer than 1 season is a mystery.
