    He’s had an operation on his ankle and will be out for a period of time.

    That’s a blow, he’s been very solid.

    Our injuries are never straight forward ones.

    He has been an excellent signing for us. We haven’t really got a like for like replacement.

    We've taken 1 point from 2 games played without him.
    If that trend continues over the next six games or so, it will only confirm that our squad is too shallow.
    We cannot afford to just let our Championship status slip away.

    He came off early vs Blackburn, Gillesphey scoring the first goal having replaced Edwards, so you could argue it's 4 points from 3 games.

    Fair point.
    One point from two games where the team had to be selected without Edwards present from the start.

    Hopefully it is not a stat significant of anything (sample too small at present).
    We will know by the end of November.
