Watford have sacked Head Coach Rob Edwards and will appoint Slavan Bilic. He will become their 17th manager in 10 years. One less than West Ham have had in their entire history.
I reckon Watford's just a money laundering outfit. All these managers get their payoffs in large brown envelopes stuffed with used notes...
It's interesting that most people think that's crazy, yet it also seems to be a majority view on here that Shota should be sacked after 8 months in the job (and I don't disagree with that view). Supporters always seem to be more in favour of a sacking when it concerns their own club.
Bilic will probably be sacked in 6 months. They’ll run out of managers to appoint. The Watford way is ridiculous.
Maybe we should start a "Watford change managers again" thread, instead of having one for all these individuals that get sacked.
I'd like to see what Edwards could do with our squad and is probably more atainable than Parker or Dyche! Forest Green looked very good on the one occassion I saw them, which I realise is not a basis for an appointment but I presume it was not a one off performance given they went up and he got head hunted.
This is quite true and after the swansea match, i felt shotta should go. As much for his own health. He is a likeable bloke, but can he hand a bollocking out, because that's what is needed. I think not
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63087955 Newly appointed boss Slaven Bilic says he can be a success at Watford and insists the Championship club "definitely don't want to sack" him.
Getting tonked 4-0 at Swansea last night won't have helped his longevity. West Ham have lost five on the bounce, Bruce might get that one instead! "Not since a run between March and April 2017, under the management of Slaven Bilic, have West Ham lost five consecutive games in the league."
