Linked with the Napoli striker... http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/...-and-qpr-and-arsenal-both-keen-on-chile-star?

been shocking for Napoli, I am not sure he has played for them for a year or so, last saw him in some random Brazilian league game on loan
just checked, he was at valencia on loan last season. im not sure im convinced he can come in and hit the ground running
Perhaps chosen for the Chevanton role....but 15 goals in 32 internationals, including the first against Spain in the World Cup, isn't too shabby.
Always handy having at least 2 of one nationality if you do go down a particular route of nationality. Also just because he didn't set the world on fire in Italy, doesn't mean he isn't a good player. Plus it's another loan with an option to buy so works out pretty well and give us options.
It seems he has a year left on his contract so a years loan to check him out and maybe grab him on a free if both parties agree.
You've got to remember who he has been competing with. First he was behind Cavani in the pecking order, then he's had to compete with Higuain for the last season. Imo he's one of the better we've been linked with. But if he's a good fit for the club and English football is impossible to say.
A delivery driver said to me yesterday "Is it true that your lot are after that Chilean bloke ... Johnny Vegas?" I was amazed at his knowledge of football!
............. as long as we don't have to wheel him in, anything else will be a good sign! He's no relation to Viva Los Vargas, is he?
A lot of players don't adapt to Serie A at all and end up in Loan wilderness. Let's hope he can show some of his international form
