I presume you google translated all that. I've heard good things about him but he is 29. I just hope he hasn't peaked already if we sign him. I read once that players tend to reach their peak around 27.
With ML in charge we're going to see a load of newly minted Swan wannabes being pitched by their agents and lining up hoping for a look, try out, whatever. He's not the first, and not going to be the last. Ho Hum .... so tedious. It's the players we go looking for are the ones that are of interest and with our usual mode of operating just below the radar we won't know about them until they check into the Morgans one day to interview etc.
From what i've seen from this guy i'd say he's not EPL material. Great speed and creativity but he's mentality is off. When losing his head goes into a sort of mourning mode and he's useless. He's a winger but he is at his best as CF or ST. He has greaat passing technique and he got a good long shot but his crosses are rather poor. His endurance and stamina are not that great either, he had to be subbed many times at the end of the game, even when fully fit. His tactical insight is great and he can put someone in a scoring position but dont expect him to carry the game. Pro: Speed Tactical insight Passing Shooting from distance Finishing Agility Cons: Stamina Crossing Endurance Mental skills Leadership
Gaat helemaal prima! And hes beyond prospect with his 29 years of age. If i was a member of the scouting board i'd vote negative on this transfer.
Pro: Speed Crosses Shot power Finishing Mentality Heading flexibility tactical insight Cons: Consistency footing agility passing If i had to label him, i'd say he's a Dirk Kuyt type of player, lethal in the box, works his ass off and flexibel as in he can play as a left winger, AM, CF and striker. Versatile guy with great speed, but his creativity and footing aren't that great. Last season he had Adam Maher and Rasmus Elm for that bit. He's wors best as an left attacking midfielder or CF. And what i noticed last season is that his passing was off, lost possesion a lot of times. Edit: Yes it's the guy who's playing for Villa coming season.
Signed a deal with Alen McLeish in March this year as a free agent. Is to join the Aston Villa squad on the fist of July this summer.
