With the retirement of Adam Copeland this week due to medical reasons the WWE have lost their top man on Smackdown. While it could be argued that the Undertaker is the top man on that show and not Edge, Edge was a more frequent competitor so his are bigger shoes to fill. This leaves the WWE with a big gap that they have to fill. Del Rio is currently the top heel on the brand and likely to become the next World Champion but the position of top face is currently vacant. Christian looks set to be pushed into that role but whether he can handle it or not has yet to be seen. The WWE will likely look to hold a draft in the near future to move one of the RAW main-eventers to Smackdown to compensate for losing Edge. Edge has been a good servant to the WWE in recent years and will be a massive loss for them. I was never really a fan but his hard work has to be recognized. He' sure to be an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.
Such a shame for Edge. I was a big fan of his and WWE has lost one of its major assets. In my opinion Smackdown already had an inferior roster than RAW, it will be interesting to see who gets traded
They're having a superstar trade this year instead of the draft, i think JoMo will be going over to SD, maybe Bryan, And Wade Barrett and Big Zeke could easily step up, and once Dancing With The Stars is finished Jericho will be back maybe return to SD as a Face, but most likely will return to raw to fued with Orton, or maybe even Orton being moved over to SD.
Well today the WWE have announced that they will be holding a Draft on next week's RAW. I expect to see Orton moved to Smackdown if I'm honest but I'd like to see Sheamus go there.
I wish I could still watch the WWF/WWE I have not watched it since "The Ultimate Warrior" and Mr Perfect, they were the days. I will get back inot it soon, as I am getting sky sooon
