Howe never answers questions.. he wouldn't even commit to the clubs aims. Tap danced the entire thing.
He did answer it. Said the goal was to win the ****ing lot. Said the goal was to stay up first year. Answered the stuff about him and Mitchell. Answered why he never took Celtic gig, said he believed when he was told it was between him and emery that emery had the job but was delighted when he turned it down. He answered the England job stuff and only one he refused to be drawn into was his political views on state ownership of clubs. He even said he thought the psr rules were crap and not fit for purpose.
Listened in the car.. covered everything but never committed fully to an answer. I know how he operates I do the same.
The trouble with tap dancing is that you can never let yourself get caught up in the highs and lows. I try to take myself away from that as much as possible. I've always loved my shoes and dancing partners in a sense of who they are and what they can bring to the dance floor and I'll always do my best to develop their game.
