Wenger has officially stated that Eboue is free to leave the club if he wishes.

In his most recent press conference Arsene stated:
'How many will leave the club? I said from the start I will fight to keep everybody. Nicklas Bendtner might go and Emmanuel Eboue might go. They can talk to clubs, but the rest I will fight.'

The end for Eboue!? Jenkinson will play backup to Sagna if he goes. It's getting frustrating how long it's taking to get rid of Bendtner (though I wanted him to stay), Almunia, and the others that we feel can be shipped out. I think Arsene needs to sell before he can buy to free up wages. With Almunia on ~80k/wk, and Bendtner ~50k/wk, plus Denilson freeing ~50k/wk now that he's gone on loan, there'll be a huge amount of wages available if they can jetison the unwanted.

I'm a bit sad that Eboue might be going. It's a good time for him, time to go and be 1st choice and prove what a great attacking RB he can be.

Good luck to him, but he was surplus to requirements at Arsenal.

He's rubbish anyway, don't get why so many of your fans worship him.

I think we should keep him because he can play on the right wing, in right midfield and right back (and because he's Eboue for Pete's sake).

Good. I had enough of this rubbish about him being 'good' for the dressing room. Stuff that, we are a football team who are meant win games after games and that means we need our squad players to be doing their business on the pitch. I would much rather have a boring player who just fills in and does his job as a squad player. Eboue had one outstanding season and thats it. Not good enough as a RB or RW. Thank you for the service but goodbye,Eboue.

I actually rated Eboue, I think he was a good RB and made some great advancing runs into opposition territory. He also supplied the cross for that RVP volley at Charlton a few seasons ago. If he is to move on then he goes with my best wishes and thanks for everything he gave to Arsenal <ok>

Good guy, funny character and according to players it's just amazing to have him around.

But footballing-wise he'll be no loss.
He is defensively weak. I kind thought he was strong, but then Sagna came in and showed me what it means to be a world class RB. Eboue was good going forward but was defensively frail.

You will do well to get rid I think.

Bit of a cult player like Biscan was for us. When it comes to it though, they were/are both pretty average! Putting it nicely.
