It's just something posh people do to fill their time before they die because they don't have the worries of subsistence.
If I die from ebola because some posh lispy twat wanted to put "Spent a year volunteering in Africa" on their CV I will not be happy.
I simply dont understand those very naive people that go to Africa as part of their gap year or charity type stuff. As far as im concerned these folks should take care of our very own in nursing homes and the very elderly as well as the ill in this country who suffer from all sorts of physical illnesses such as Alzheimers, MS etc The Africans have their own people to look after them
