'Santa Cruz and Yakubu loan targets'. Then all of a sudden it's 'Ebanks-Blake also possible'. Of course it's possible, anything is bleeding possible but it doesn't mean it's a reality. Would definitely take him. Proven in this league and had more than one good season rather than Maynard and for a similar price. I think he's better at link-up play and bringing others into the game than Maynard as well.

Sven has taken his time and this Beckford thing came out of the blue. This morning the papers came up with it, we all dismissed it and now we have made a bid for him. Why would anyone want to leave Barca at the minute. The 2nd and 3rd best teams in the world Man U and Real Madrid are no where near the standard of Barca at the minute. With them signing Fabregas they will only be stronger, i cant even see how Fabregas is going to get in their team with Pedro, Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta ahead of him
We would have more chance of getting players from Real Madrid anyway after the Friendly Sven and Mourinho both said they hope they can create some sort of partnership between the clubs.
