Match Day Thread Eat Your Greens Chairboys v FGR 10th April 23

The Chairboys are back at Adams Park with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread as we need a minimum of 15 points in our remaining 6 games to have a chance and we welcome bottom of the table FGR who will be playing in League 2 next season.
Matty has players coming back from injury with Dom Gape getting some minutes on the pitch and Sammy Vokes very close to a return with Garath McCleary not far off.
This is another game on Wanderers TV and as I have been away for a couple of days that will have to do for me and lets hope we put a winning run together for the rest of the season

They don't play badly until they concede and then they crack. Nailed on for relegation for sure and can't see any way they will get out of it.

 

It's a huge step up for a club like Forest Green to league 1, how Morecambe surived last year took some doing, when you look at the bottom of the table three of the bottom four are probably the ones with the lowest crowds & income

 

Looking at the table again if Forest Green lose this afternoon & Poxford win they are down anyway with a GD of -25 on the franchise

We are desperately short of good strikers. Seem to be relying on Wing for goals. What should have been an opportunity to bang in a hatful, now looks as though we will be lucky to get 2, and a win is no foregone conclusion

 

in the last 4 games we have accumulated 2 points out of a possible 12

Just a shade short of play off form, I would say

Nail in coffin if we lose today and if we don't get some decent signings in the summer, next year will be mid table
