I see they have pulled out of Newcastle Airport. That's quite a hammer blow to the region really as they were the biggest low budget carrier out of NCL. As well as costing jobs at a bad time, it will mean that Jet 2 and Ryan Air are the only low cost carriers now and surely when things improve that will mean those airlines will increase their prices too for the already skint folk of the NE who work hard and value their holiday. I've flow with Easyjet for years on most of their routes so it's a bit of a pisser that the nearest hubs are now MCR and EDI.
Had to be done to make space for all the executive jets for the next set of takeover attempts. Think there are going to be quite a few airlines retreating to their core airports and giving up the least profitable routes. Manchester Airport is expanding dramatically at the moment so hopefully I wont be affected.
Keep up with the times will you, that's old news. Anyway, travel by Scooter, its much more cost effective and environmentally friendly. Long live Extinction Rebellion.
