    Easter on his own fitness:
"I am nowhere near as fit or as sharp as I would like to be, but that will come with games. I think within two or three games I will be able to show a lot more and hopefully that will help us get to where we want to be. I have only made five starts this season so it has probably been the most disappointing season of my career in terms of playing football, but I hope I am going to finish it on a high.

    Easter on joining Rovers:

"It took me months to make my decision to take the plunge and drop down to the Conference, but I am glad that I have done it now and hope that I will be back in the Football League as a Bristol Rovers player next season. The lads are a fantastic group and I have known the manager for a very long time. He is a good guy and a great coach and I see a very bright future for him as a manager. It's good to be around people like that and it is always exciting to be part of a promotion-chasing squad."

A lot of people speak very highly of DC, lets just hope that promotion is obtained this year or we could be looking for a new manager next year

He'll get us up this year. Hopefully he'll get us up next year too. We might struggle to hold on to him after that, but hopefully he's here for the long haul. Bristol's been starved of success for too long any he must see the potential. It's a great place to live and if the club's moving in the right direction and everyone's behind him, why would he leave?

Because I believe he is a very good manager and there are clubs out there who are struggling and need a good manager and would probably make him a better offer and if it is a league club that could make it more attractive to him. Just to make it clear I do not want him to go. Notice on

There are a lot of league clubs out there who are struggling and DC would be a good manager for them with his attitude to discipline and work ethic. They would probably pay a better salary if they are in the league 1or2. Just for the record I do not want to see him leave as I firmly believe he is the man to take us onwards and upwards. I also noticed on the Rovers news that he was hoping to bring in two players before the deadline this week.

DC is a very good manager, and he must have done quite a bit to get to Easter to come here - the fact we are close to his home would not be the only factor. Easter showed a great work ethic in Friday's game, which you may not have expected from him given that he has become used to playing at a higher level.

I think if a league 1 or 2 club come in for DC, I seriously think he will stay. He has the fanbase on his side here. I bet he has a bigger budget here with us than what he would get at most league 1 or 2 clubs. And we already know we get higher attendances at the mem than what all league 2 gets and most of league 1. So really he is in the right place and has a great opportunity to be the guy to take us up.

As I have stated many times on this forum and the now defunct forum that DC could be Rovers version of Sir Alex. He has got a squad playing with energy and showing pride in wearing the BLUE and WHITE quarters of Rovers. He I believe is also proud to be our manager and is our best hope of not only regaining our league status but going up through the leagues

I like DC too, and I really hope he does stay. Some of our fans may have an influence though if they keep calling for his head!

Are some of our fans really still calling for DC to be sacked? If so they should be ashamed of themselves.

    No disrespect to anyone but........

We have been poor all season, scrapping wins when we should be scoring loads. DC constantly tinkers and sticks with players who are out of form or cant score.

Also if someone asked me what style of play we played i have no idea, "hit and hope"?

I truly believe if Stewart was in charge the position would be the same in fact pretty much anyone could be in charge.

End of the day i hope DC gets us up and of course her gets my backing as he is the boss but i think he is tactically inept and opens his mouth far to much.

But in no way am i saying he should be sacked i just don't rate him.

Fingers crossed i am totally wrong.
