Earnie was out in Cardiff last night so hopefully this means he may be resigning for us. The wee man has been playing well recently so I would be glad to see him do the Ayatollah again in a City shirt.
With all the other possibilities rumoured it could be a good week for Bluebirds signings.

Let's hope so, I'd love to see Earnie back he is one of only a few ex-Bluebirds I'd like to see in a City shirt.

Hmmmmm.....agree about the capture for the fans but unsure about the goals bit.

Don't get me wrong, he scored for fun when we were in League 1 when he was vying for top scorer with Zamora who was playing for Brighton then, but times have moved on.

His main attributes was his pace over the first five yards and being able to spot a goal scoring chance before it dawned on the defenders. If he still has that pace, he'll do us fine because the other attribute never leaves you.

If he does come home (and I certainly hope he does), he could be legedary by the end of the season.

thing is though if we sign goodwillie and bellamy ( i know they are quite big if's) surely he is going to be third in the pecking order because i cant imagine we'll pay 2M for goodwillie then just waste him on the bench. though if there is any truth in the whittingham leaving to portsmouth then bellamy on the wing with goodwillie and earnshaw up front with conway on the right that sounds quite nice

I agree with Old Sparkey, I don't reckon he'll be that good (past it) maybe a couple of goals a season off the bench and we do need another new striker who can get the 25 goals a season needed

Why the hell would we want Trundle???? I think we are signing far better players than that hack. Worry about your own signings Sickly. Incredible how you can't get anybody? What pulling power you have? (I know Sickly as pulling power in that right wrist!)

Would be great seeing Earnie back in a bluebirds shirt but, as already stated by others, will only be a squad player.

Earnie is only 30 so a few years left, if given enough chances to score I think he could get 20+

All we need now is 'Earnie seen in local Ladbrooks' and its as good as a done deal.

Actually, it would be one in the eye for the trees if one of their players signed for us after all the Whitts done deals of last year.<nahnah>
