Just on City's site, Earnie has gone on loan to Tel Aviv in Israel for the season. We must have bought a job lot in one way plane tickets for him and K9. http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10335~2924416,00.html Good luck to him. Hope he gets plenty of game time. When he gets a home out there he will have to be careful if he does DIY. Might get his tool nicked. I'll get me coat.
very strange move...... i would have thought if you are going abroad you either do to the far east or USA...... in hindsight he shouldnt have come back in the first place..... spoke to a forest fan a while back and he said they'd love to have him back...they dont understand why things havent worked out, so all in all strange to go to this league... good luck earnie..
They always say you shouldn't go back. He must be disappointed the way it ended. It's the right thing for both parties. He's getting on and needs to be playing. He seems a long way down the order with us even with Maynard injured. So he'll have played his last game for us as this is a season long loan and his contract is up at the end of the year. Thanks for the memories (first time round). He'll remain a Bluebird legend.
Very true Remote. He will always receive a good welcome when he returns to CCS, either watching or playing (just not for us).
Good luck to him, but just a word of advice. Whatever you do mate, don't do the Ayatollah out there...........
I will always remember your little Earny too..................doing that bloody back-flip after you beat us to the play-offs....and at our place too
Sorry to see Earnie go but it's for the best. Good luck to him. I doubt somehow we'll see Maynard this side of Christmas. Plenty of other options thankfully.
