Papers today reporting money possibly not being available to NW as promised. What does this suggest? Early signs of preparation for Championship again maybe. After all, TF is a businessman and no one can blame him. He's rich but not THAT rich. I still think we've already got the quality to stay up but NW can't seem to get them to perform. I heard one of the Sunderland players on radio saying that since O'Neil took over they no longer go into every game thinking they're going to get beaten. We need the same mentality but easier said than done when only taken 5 pts from 30!
It would seem very unfair on Warnock not to back him with some money now. August was a rushed affair with money only being available at the last minute, so surely TF and NW have been planning for January for a while. If TF has serious concerns surely he would have let NW know before allowing him to get his hopes up about bringing in a couple of new players. That said, you are right, TF is a businessman who isn't going to pour money into something he doesn't see as a long term investment. Ah who knows...
