MANCHESTER City dominate today’s football transfer gossip columns with a move for Tottenham’s Gareth Bale reportedly on the cards

City followed up their FA Cup final triumph over Stoke with a 3-0 Barclays Premier League win over the same opposition last night at Eastlands.

But with Champions League qualification secured, the tabloids are turning their thoughts to next season at City and Bale is one of the stars linked with them today.

With Carlos Tevez’s future in Manchester in doubt, another Man United old boy Cristiano Ronaldo is another linked with Eastlands by the Daily Mirror.

City also want Udinese and Chile winger Alexis Sanchez for £30m, says talkSPORT.

Juventus, meanwhile, could move for City’s Tevez and Edin Dzeko, as well as Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.

Liverpool have made an approach to Lille for Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard, but Arsenal, Real Madrid and Chelsea are also linked with him.

Bolton defender Gary Cahill could be on his way to Arsenal this summer, while Everton’s bid for Sporting Lisbon forward Yannick Djalo has failed - so far.

Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson hopes to take Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey back to his hometown club, according to the Daily Mail.

Defender Paul Konchesky could return to Fulham after struggling at Liverpool.
