Great to see N'Diaye come on against the Hammers, let's hope he is a great signing for us. I guess he will have to get "up to speed" with Premiership football, not least with the aerial side of the game. I was surprised that of the four or five aerial challenges he had during his limited appearance he only won one of them. With a midfielder of 6' 3" I hoped he would be our first line of defence for clearances of kicks from the opposition goalkeeper. On a more positive note it was good to see him getting into a scoring position in WHU's penalty area. Exciting times this January!
We wanted a big, athletic box to box midfielder. Looks like we got one. Nee body mentioned a CM who could head the ball.
Tbh, the lad is a totally unknown entity. Could be the next Toure or the equally the next shaun cunnington? Only time will tell.
