Yeah especially as EDP tried doing the same 10 years ago and thoroughly embarassed themselves when we entered the UEFA cup the following year.

    Banter? Really?

Honestly, this hasn't wound me up in any way, shape or form. I'm simply astounded at the sheer ignorance and ineptitude of the person who "wrote" it.<ok>

To be honest, I expect (look forward to) the anti budgie sentiments and personally wish them all the very worst for next season.

That said, I do think that the article, supposedly written by a professional journalist, is pretty pathetic and and totally witless. Then I shouldn't be surprised as this falls in line pretty well with the crap and nonsense that the publication seems to produce nowadays.

See Stratton, you really should read ALL the posts before making a statement likely to make you look foolish <doh>

Stratton's point is valid. Just because Carra now claims it wasn't funny doesn't mean he wasnt joining in with the best of 'em!

I agree it is a pretty shoddy idea for one reason only - I think Naaridge will be finishing top half next season. I don't think with the kind of buzz there is around Carrot Road - for the fans and the playing staff - that there is any chance of slipping straight back down. I do think the whole thing is only sustainable as long as Lambert's there though. When he inevitably moves on to a bigger club the budgies will be at best a couple of years away from the Championship again.

It does depend on the start though - a bad first half dozen results and that belief will fade like air out of a punctured football.

If I'm proved wrong, if Norwich are in the bottom four or five after the first quarter of the season - that's the time to set the timer on the relegation clock!

For once I followed a Norwich girl’s thread and I have to agree; this is a stupid, embarrassing piece.

I had a whinge on their website about this.

This is exactly the sort of thing you’d expect the other way around, or from a bunch of “Celts” wallowing in their Anglophobic obsessions.

No, if I don't find something funny, I won't laugh and will have no part in it.

I can guarantee I would not of found it funny 10 years ago. When you make assumptions about a team doing crap, you are only setting yourself up for a fall.
