2) Top of the Injuries table
What a great season it has been - I cant wait to buy the DVD.

 

It would be interesting to know how many weeks were lost injured whilst playing for the first team

I mean a break down (no pun) of injuries sustained
playing for the first team
playing for the reserves
training field
internationals

 

Complete and utter domination.

I think I know how a Chelsea fan feels now. League wrapped up and still weeks to go in the season.

 

When we win the league I think there should be an open top ambulance parade. I can just see it now...millions of Newcastle Utd coloured sticky plasters thrown from the windows, cardboard cut out stretchers being held aloft. What a day it will be.

 

Yep - doesn't look like we can be caught unless the Arsenal team bus crashes on the way to the match on Saturday. Just realised that this is now a top of the table clash. I hope our players will be going down like flies to make sure we retain our lead.

 

This really does put to bed the theory we never win anything. Our profit and injury efforts will be difficult to surpass. These records will stand the test of time.

 

Not surprising and in fact I think if we where to look at prior seasons we would be very near the top if not top each year.

The club is a shambles!

 

With our long history of injuries it can't be just bad luck. There must be something they are doing wrong at the club. Maybe the scouts are just very good at spotting crook players.

Although thinking about it we have got a history of signing players with past injury issues. Ba, De Jong, Santon and Marveaux to name just 4. Weren't we also close to signing Bafétimbi Gomis a while back who has recently collapsed on the pitch.

 

Or going down like JPF just to be extra sure.

 

It's probably the cold....

 

I was concerned for a short while yesterday when Arsenal's number 34 went down. I would keep an eye out on the league points though as I noticed he came back on without a number on his shirt. They might pretend he's out injured just to try and pull back some of the points gap.

You can't trust these Cockney wide boys one inch.

 

Hope we still get points for the injured players we sent on loan to Rangers. Otherwise we could have kept them on our books and been guaranteed a record breaking season.

 

Unfortunately not. You can only blame UEFA and their acquiescence to all those Clubs unable to match our spending on invalided footballers with the introduction of the FFP rules, the FIt Football Player Rules.

 

But there must be a JPF rule you can apply so we can win!

 

These JPF Gaming rules remind me of Blake's 7. He buggered off after series 1, leaving the rest to fend for themselves.

Indeed it is, however Michael is unable to be here in person to present the trophy as he slipped a disc in his back while picking up his wallet.

 

That was only because he'd heard a rumour we were rekindling our interest and lining up a summer move.
