I know we've been subject of unsubstantiated transfer gossip but this one has me a little concerned. I've been surprised that no interest had previously been shown in Nathan, but then again it's only another rumour hopefully. http://www.fanatix.com/news/liverpool-in-shock-swoop-for-tricky-winger-127/
2 Million? They having a laugh or what!? In my opinion it doesn't seem genuine, there isn't any quotes from Dalglish stating he wants dyer, or is even a target. But stranger things have happened. If it is true and he does go, why would he play for a team where he will spend most of his time on the bench? I love dyer, he had an amazing year last season and would hate to see him leave... But I'm sure I read somewhere that he said last season was his best ever, most enjoyable and wants to extend his contract?
Is he any good? I've only seen him play in the play off final. Sinclair is also good I hope you can keep hold of them both.
If you remember there was Liverpool interest in Dyer a while back when Tommy Smith was saying how much he rated him... Personally I don't see it happening personally. Nathan has publicly said a couple of times this is where he wants to be, and a while back came out with that "Grass isn't always greener" interview and article.
Why would he be 'doing the dirty' on the Swans if he left? Do you know how big Liverpool are? I really hope Nathan stays with us as I genuinely believe it would be a body blow for us if he went, but come on, it's Liverpool! Swans fans really ought to stop being so romantic. Can't blame the lad if he tries his arm, but hope he stays.
I doubt this will happen either simply because i think most PL teams would think he's to lightweight.
Well if he (or his agent) start stalling on signing an extension, it might be better to let him go. I don`t want him to leave, he`s awesome down that wing. But it might be better to get something for him, than him leaving for nothing in a year`s time.
Looks like it's the first Dyer's heard about this! In reply to a fan begging him not to leave on Twitter, he replied 'where has this come from'! Think we can relax, for now
liverpool are after dyer, that has been a rumor that i have been reluctant to mention until i found out for sure for over a week, ...dyer has been stalling signing a new contract and now we know why, ..i personally dont think he is liverpool standard but when a big team like that comes in for you then dyer has to think very hard about it, the pluses for him will be wages and the minuses are the limited opportunity of first team football with liverpool. £2 million is not far off his value and with just one season left then he can go for free next season. I hope he puts pen to paper with us but if liverpool are serious in getting him then good luck to him as i would do the same if i was in his shoes....
Now now Dai, don't get tetchy. You spent months last year telling us Pratley had already agreed a move to Forest and had passed a medical, so forgive me if I take your latest offering with a very large pinch of salt. Got any sensible retort, or just another bout of name-calling?
IF Dyer was to leave , especially to Liverpool , 4,000,000 is what they will probably have to pay . They'll know the potential of Dyer , unlike Aber , even though he lives not far away from the " Premier League Capital of Wales !! "
As if Jenkins would let him go for 2 Million! Can't see this happening, he is too important a player for us and we can easily see of bids of this poor nature! Up yours Liverspuds!............ please log in to view this image
