Contract talks broke down. He probably wants more than 1 yr deal
Shame but oh well. Someone in the championship will be getting a decent free transfer with him. Qpr?? Nah at 31 too young for them lol

No, please don't go Dyer! It seems such a shame, he's played out of his skin this year.

I really hope we sort something out. Lloyd still has a lot to offer and will go down as one of our best servants since the MON era

Best out and out winger since Steve Guppy

It's a shame, as you could cut him in half and he would have Leicester written through the middle . But can't help feeling he would be a bench warmer next year!

I actually thought he was older than 31. I wonder if we've heard the last of this. Quite possible one side or the other may relent. It is an understandable impasse though. If Dyer isn't good enough for the Prem, offering more than one year will be a waste of money. Dyer himself obviously wants some commitment, especially after contracts have been allow to run down this season.

Personally, I think this is his one chance at the big time. If I were he, I'd take the one year and prove I can cut it. Perhaps he knows he can't.

This ... I hope he rethinks ... take the 1 year Lloyd and show what you can do, whether from the bench or by cementing a first team spot by performance ... even if it doesn't work out he would still be hot potatoes for one of the better Championship sides come a transfer window ...

Guppy was not an out and out winger, in fact he very rarely got to the bye line,

You know what I mean. Different types of wingers but still both wingers

Guppy put crosses into the box while Dyer uses his pace to beat his man. We haven't be blessed with decent wingers until recently

perhaps he feels that with Mahrez arrival his chances will be limited perhaps he wants to play.

I was thinking he'd be ineffective next season given the extra pace of their fullbacks, a great servant to the club though through thick and thin ... otherwise known as Sven and Pearson <ok>

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Probably wouldn't even have to move house!

Going to be alot of ambition there next season, hope that he does well, just him not the whole team <ok>

:emoticon-0159-music Lloyd Dyer is a red, he hates Leicester :emoticon-0159-music

Only 3 im really bothered about signing new contracts.
