Obviously it wasn't done on purpose but we need to stay injury free with our squad as it is and we have signed some one with a terrible history on the treatment table. On the up side after that first half i fancy us to get at least a leveller since they scored from their only shot on target and we've had at least 3 or 4 attempts and look the better side.
Correct. We could have signed Messi and he could have broken his foot in the opening minutes!! But as someone else said, it gives the moaning brigade another chorus of "we told you so". He didn't break down with a recurring injury. Just bad luck!!

I actually feel sorry for the guy. If reports are true and he really put a lot of effort into getting fit in pre-season, then to be stretchered off after only 3 mins is a real kick in the teeth.
Don't be like that Northy, if he gets injured in his next game then fair enough but give the lad a chance!
I'm quite prepared to give him a chance. I'd love him to prove me wrong, that he's a crock who'll be no use at all, and is only at the club cos of our 'special' transfer policy! We'll see eh
