The former England international has signed on a free after his release from West Ham, and is expected to fill the role just behind the front two â his favoured position. This could be a complete masterstroke from NW, after all, Dyer started out as a full-back for Ipswich I think. Or it could be a real stroke of desperation on his part. IWWT
The headline states: "Dyer could rival Orr for Rangers right-back berth." then when you read it .... "new man is not averse to a bit of defensive work if Bradley Orr is unavailable". So no rival, just a stand in if necessary. And they wonder why we think that most journos are tossers. I suppose Warburton will say "I said 'could', not will".
