Hopefully people will get off Ronny's back now. I would have Bitton (see what I did there) your hand off for a draw before the game so i'm well pleased. Izzy's stupidity cost us all 3 points but here's hoping he'll learn from that this time. Special word for Efe when he came on, apart from one mistake he was really excellent.
I must have been squealing for a good 15 mins that Izzy needed to come off - he was on a yellow and beelin' all over the place. ****ing flabbergasted when the 2nd yellow came because it was so fricken obvious it was going to come. Obviously the player has a responsibility, but when some drunken ****head in a pub can read the situation, then the manager should be able to too.
Ronny covered that Mick. Some of the other players were running on empty and he wanted to use the subs to get some fresh legs on. He was wrong but **** happens.
What annoyed me yesterday is why on earth Bitton and Johanson never played quick passes but always allowed themselves to be surrounded by 3 players. had the passed the ball quicker we would have scored more goals.
I covered this the other day, we tend to start off games at a million miles an hour and are pressing high. Doesn't matter how fit the players are if you play that style of game, even the best athletes will be blowing out their arses after an hour.
