The Dutch national squad was hit hard in the friendly against Slovakia.
After 15 seconds in the game defenders Bouma and Heitinga collided mid air, head first.
Bouma was taken off during half time and it looks like he is the second central defender to exit injured during a friendly in a weeks time.

More trouble ahead for the Dutch as Sneyder took two hits to the ankle during the game. The second hit in the 49th minute took out the attacking midfielder who had to be taken off injured in the 51st minute. He was replaced by Van der Vaart.

With one friendly left, Saturday against Northern Ireland, the clouds come rolling in and dark days may be ahead for Dutch aspirations to win the EC.
Mathijsen has already been ruled out for the coming week and he may not be present in the first game against Denmark in poule B.
Bouma was the replacement of Mathijsen but took a hit to the head and could out with a mild concussion.
Doctors on the Dutch team confirmed to the press that Sneyder was taken off the pitch with an ankle injury but nothing on Bouma so far. Though an ambulance has been called in to take him to hospital for a scan.

Pieters is not even selected, had surgery and is out till August/September

    Hot off the press:
Mathijsen and Sneijder likely to return in the match against Denmark. Bouma still uncertain.

Oh no, they had to replace Sneijder with someone terrible... no, it was VDV, one of europes top attacking midfielders. Not like England where we have a wealth of quality waiting in the wings... oh no, we've got Henderson...

The dutch never suffer from a lack of talent. They just all have very high opinions of themselves and love a bit of infighting! They deserve to go out early for their brutality in that final the dirty bastardos!
