    Newcastle are poised to make a move for Groningen midfielder Dusan Tadic.

    Tadic, 23, has been impressive for the Dutch side this season and has also attracted interest from Lazio.

    Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is keen to bolster his squad during the summer and reports in Dutch magazine Voetbal claim he has sent scouts to watch the Serbian international in action.

    Tadic has a contract until 2013 and Groningen will be looking for at least £6m for their star midfielder.

    Dusan Tadic signed with Twente about two weeks ago for 6,8 million euro's(5,5 million quid).
    3y contract with 2y option.

    Twente has been very unclear about this. However, Bajrami, their left winger announced today that he wants to leave the club.
    It is speculating but it could be that they bought Tadic(LM) to replace him. Though this might be position wise be logical, Bajrami hasn't played much this season. Its the very reason why he wants to leave Twente.

    But its stupid to pay 5,5 million quid to replace a guy that hardly even plays.

    He might, as Top Chihuahua said, replace Nacer Chadli. Rumour has it that he might go to Fulham to Martin Jol.
    However this makes no sense position wise. Though Tadic is somewhat of a playmaker, hes no AM or CF.

    And they still have Leroy Fer for the CM/AM position, he costed 5 million last season.
