Groin has put him out of irelands games. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24845139 I hope its one of those Man U type injuries and that he needs a rest rather than he cannot play at all, this also re enforces what some of us said about not playing him and Hill as we will just run them into the ground. Time to play the new guy and rotate the older pair.
I hope your synopsis is correct Flyer. But if not I think the American will be fine with Clint at his side.
That's what it sounds like to me Flyer. It's good to see we pull our players from meaningless International friendly squads. I thought he played quite well against Derby. I don't see any need to change or rest him for the moment. I would rather see somebody play who is solid rather than a new player who I know very little about.
By the sound of it it's more a precaution to give him a rest otherwise he would be doubtful for Saturday at Reading due to injury.....
Think he's due a rest. It'll be interesting to see what Goochie is like. Hopefully Onuoha will be back soon.
according to Noel King who named the Irish squad Dunne is being rested and no fresh injuries, because he was out for a year and has been playing regular with us he is using the international break to rest
That's good to hear Cavanrebel. He's not injured as such, just resting to make sure he doesn't get injured.
So basically the reporter saw that he had been omitted from squad, added 2+2 and made 5, so assumed he had to be injured and posted report that the groin injury that kept him out for the season was the reason.......why let a few facts get in the way of a story?
