Overrated Ameobi? That's how I feel anyway, his apps are all high but his goals is pretty terrible! His first Everton spell: Apps - 107 goals - 35 His second Everton spell: Apps - 123 goals - 25 He however is seen as a great player for Everton and got a round of applause at one of there matches recently.. I never followed Everton, hate there football it bores me. But everything which isn't Toon bores me, what is your opinion on his guys? Overrated Ameobi or great target man?

Plus your thread would have been called "Does anyone else think Duncan Ferguson is an overrated Ameobi?" Ferguson's a hard one to place really, but yeh I'd say he's Evertons Ameobi. I do like that Shearer is being sure to liken Carroll to him to finally put to bed any press likening Carroll to him.
