Allams and Duffen were reportedly in contact and held each other in good regard when the sale went through and awhile after.
As much as we all have a go at Duffen, he gambled everything he could to keep us up but lost the bet. What we can't forgive is that the 'everything' was the very existence of the club.
I don't think, not for one second, that Assem or Ehab would take, or even seek, financial advice from that muppet!
Maybe they want his advice on how to drum up support, fill the stadium, run good PR, communicate with the fans, stand up to the police, manage the council effectively etc? Lots of lessons they can learn.
Assuming we don't know the truth could Duffen actually tell us?? He didn't own the club and wasn't around when the Allams took over so no confidentiality agreement there. I suppose there might be between him AP and Bartlett but would that have a time limit on it?
Someone has to carry the drinks tray. And clean up the mess (mostly trodden on prawns) afterwards. Assume OLM knows because he's in there with them?
