A few years ago these 2 individuals changed the face of cricket when they came up with a formula to determine who should win a cricket game that had a limit number of overs. I have never really seen how a formula can work on a game that is so dependant on an individuals effort be it bowler, batsman or fielder ….. so many times an individual has been scoring freely only for there to be a complete collapse by the rest of team, whether he loses his wicket or not.... and then a bowler who gets seen off in his first few overs comes back later to take 3 or 4 wickets in as many overs ( or takes 3 wickets for 8 runs in his first stint then hammered for 60 in his last 4 overs! or a fielder who drops a certain catch! or luckily hits the stumps from 50 yards! it always means a result, but in fairness really declaring a draw would be more friendly! or using the "method" to determine which team gets the best of an odd number of points.[ instead of say 4 points or 2 points to the winners etc it is an odd number like 3 , 5 7 etc ]
