now i'm all for exceptional servants such as adam drury being in our hall of fame, but am i alone in thinking our particular hall of fame is a bit of a joke?

for me, you need to be a legendary figure to be inducted, yet there are some bizarre inclusions. i think its a bit daft, but as i say, congrats to drury - he fully deserves it! a brilliant full back, captained our title winning team, numerous appearances across three divisions, three promotions, ten years loyalty and a mighty fine bloke too <ok>

There are some bizare ones in there I agree, but then again you can't expect the Norwich hall of fame to be anywhere close to those of the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds, and (whisper it) 1p5wich.

We simply don't have the history to fill it with amazing players. If you even look at some of the players we consider to be legends, such as Hucks, Holty, and even Drury, what have the really achieved in the grand architecture of the footballing world?

It is all relative, and I'm perfectly happy to see some of the more unusual inductees, we should be proud of our own hall-of-fame, but it has to be taken for what is it
    - The Hall of Fame from a Club who, despite being largely successful, hasn't ever really won a huge amount.

i realise that CS, but i think i'm right in saying that ipswich for example, only have about 10 players in their hall of fame - we've got about 100! there should be a very select band of players and managers, otherwise it is pointless in my opinion. for example, they are suggesting dean ashton - now deano is one of my all-time favourite norwich players. he had more ability than probably anyone else in my time supporting the club. but there is absolutely no way he should be considered for our hall of fame - he only played for us for one year! michael nelson - is this a joke? i liked micky but seriously... hall of famer????

I think they should get round to updating the banners in the entrance areas at Carrow Road before they induct more people into the HoF.

I don't know what other areas of the ground are like, but in the section of the Jarrold I sit in, we have a banner each for Craig Fleming and Paul McVeigh, both of which declare that they are both still playing for the club

I think any Hall of Fame is a joke. Its like statues. Meaningless. Why would anybody in 50 years time be bothered about Huckerby or Holt the same as half you youngsters can't be bothered about Ashman or Allcock as you never saw them play.

TBF Holt will be a huge legend I think. hattricks in derbys usually lead to infamy

It's different if you never saw them play but it's just recognition really. Adams done his time and I think he's earnt a bit of recognition for his loyalty and respect of the club

But the real legacy you leave is the imprint you leave on people. I imagine I'll be raving down the pub in 50 years about how good David Fox was or Russell Martin in his pants regardless of if they are in the hall of fame

But I'm very pleased for him, Well done ads

Rather nice to see John Benson's name on the list. He spent a few years at the club.

Everyone I can think of is either still at the club or already on the list. Shouldn't we just add new people when they really deserve it?
