Have seen it all now , drums at a football match to get the crowd going ...............a perfectly good goal given as offside should have woken them up but no ,Mr Caveman kept beating his drum ,boom boom boom , boom boom boom <laugh><laugh>

Was talking to a few lads with L/pool tops on up Uplands after the match ,think they were from the Kilay area (loads of locals with L/pool tops on ,suprised really ) they said a below par L/pool deserved more from the game ,another group i had a pint with was staying in Cardiff as could not find decent digs down there !!!,thats terrible.

But drums at a football game!!!!!!

Must admit if I was stood next to someone with any musical instrument I'd be tempted to position it somewhere just to drown out the noise. The oly place for a musical instrument at a game is on the pitch before kick off.

Erm, you may wish check that one again. Blatantly offside and a great decision.

They did not deserve more either. All the Pool fans on that match day thread agreed that a point was the fairest outcome and neither of our teams played to what we can.

As for the drummer, we like it. You may not but each to their own.

    Chico!
I think the violins playing when Liverpool scored was a bit dramatic but I can see what was being portrayed.

MOTD camera proves it was a perfectly good goal and you only have to been in line to be onside ,check your defenders trailing leg ................

Also most of the scousers, not swansea plastic liverpool fans which there was many(townhill and uplands were full of swansea locals wearing L/pool tops!!!! said a below par L/pool deserved a win .
As for that drum .............OMG what next ,rugby songs? ....;O)

on the same subject.... what ever happened to the drummer at the back of the Canton Stand? I'm assuming he's found alternative employment further west?

Not missed either... only reading this thread reminded me

<laugh> lets face it that's the only reason liverpool fans would be in Cardiff, still it must be nice to know you have a small connection to the big time

No a camera has shown Chico was just playing him onside. Do you care really though? I wouldnt.

Liverpool were the better team 1st half and should have been ahead.

    More even 2nd.

Liverpool were slightly the better side but I thought Swansea played well - Michu was hopeless though (obviously a off game) Dont rate De Guzman either.

Without the clown with the drum it really would have been as quiet as a library. Where was the noise? Where was the atmosphere? WHERE WAS THE PASSION?
But I suppose that you have to expect when you only have 15000 home fans and at least half of them have only been watching live football for 1 1/2 seasons.

there is a difference between accessing a rivals sub section of a site which you use anyway, but its a completely different level of obsession to trawl a cardiff city only forum.

saddos like that do exist, like on cardiff city forum, the one he refers to, you see jacks and leeds fans with hundreds and indeed thousands of posts on it. very sad indeed! the government has got to get people like that back into work and off the dole! <ok>

huge change in the jacks opinion here from last season, i was accused of heresy after saying i thought he couldnt maintain his level of performance and was a flash in the pan. you were all delirious when jenkins agreed a fee to sign him permanently.

shows how fickle fans are, and 6 months in football is an age.......
