Ned has to come back in. Personally, I was quite surprised that Ned wasn't restored to the side following the 2nd half display vs Blackpool. Dunne has been very good for us, but he has also dropped a few clangers - indecision against Millwall, exposed for pace against Leicester and allowing Mackie to gain possession for the first Forest goal last night.

The centre back situation is one of the most pressing problems facing the manager of the club you're supposed to support, definitely worthy of a thread as shown by the decent reply under yours ! Maybe you should stick to word association you genius! :)

Ned needs to come back in to give real pace to the CBs which will push the whole side further forward as we could then play a much higher line. I'd drop Dunne.

Onuoha needs to come back in for his pace but who should make way - Dunne, Hill or Ekotto? Maybe Dunne needs a break. Wouldn't be adverse either to Ekotto being dropped and Hill moved across?

Onouha's pace and overall presence has been missed. Neither Hill nor Dunne will be around next year regardless of which division we are in. I can't bear to see Onouha sitting on the bench when fit. He must be our rock with one of Dunne or Hill rotating beside him. IMO it just shows that Harry won't make the hard decision to drop/rotate them.
I do however believe that Dunne has been a great signing for us and Onouha would learn far more from him than Hill. I love Hills passion and honesty but he's a very average defender.

I can only guess Ned isn't playing due to fitness. Surely he'd improve us at either RB or CB if fully fit.
I would replace Simpson or Dunne with him, but not Clint.
