    Drop fielding and return parish.

Drop Reid and bring in Marvin

Harwood should be given a slot alongside Baldock.

Play Jet central behind those two and let them cause havoc.

Shorey looked class i would give him the right back slot, head and shoulders above Cunningham.

SOD has plenty to think about for Tuesday.

Loose this one and it will become very concerning indeed.

Wouldn't drop Reid. The more he plays the better he'll get

No way would I drop Reid. He is just going to get better and better.

On yesterday's performance I would drop JET over any of the other midfielders

Mine would be Wagstaff, If we aren't playing wide with the wingers then there is no point in playing them. Our best performance so far this season came when we played 4 CM. Then we dropped it for the next game and got beat.. SOD keeps changing a wining team just because it was in the cup. Stick with whats wining!

It is strange how we see things as fans, personally wagstaff was the only player trying to do something yesterday, the rest were poor.

Yeah good idea lets drop a young kid who has just had one average game and who was being hailed as the next 'big thing' just a week ago.! RR this is what kids will do, they're inconsistent ! any coach will tell you, players that age are just inconsistent. he's just as likely to be unplayable on Tues as poor, if we want to give these kids a chance (as has been widely called for on here!) we need to show way more patience than this. He will need an arm round him today and encouragement. not fans calling for his head.

Plus bring in Harewood? who we dropping for that then? or shall we play with 12 men? Don't say Pack cos he was the only one who came out of yesterdays game with any credit.

The full backs were both very average yesterday (never seen what the fuss was about myself anyway) but it didn't help with Joe Bryan tucking in so narrow (he had clearly been told to do this.!) it took away an option when Cunningham had the ball. I would bring back Shorey who I thought linked up well with O'connor against the Sags.

Jet ? an enigma, deserves a thread on its own.. but yes I would drop him on Tues, a luxury we cant afford at the moment, at least at the start of the game.

Fully understand where you are coming from,he has done well has BR but we need to start putting points on the board.

SoD has some big decisions to make for next week, especially playing a derby at Swindon on Saturday,i want to see us play with guts, passion, commitment next week, sadly yesterday was a huge dissapointment.

I thought he tried yesterday too and ill take my hat off he does give 100% but if we aren't playing wide he becomes less effective.

He will get a thread on his own, and I will be raped and pillaged for saying after yesterday's walk around the pitch for him to drop him.

I don't get this idea with dropping everyone and replacing them with players they wanted dropped a few weeks ago? We need a consistent team to preform at this level.

Yesterday was about staying tight and making it hard to score against us. SOD clearly said this was his mantra for this game before the start yesterday?

We seemed to be too concerned about 'keeping to instruction' rather than having a go at Peterboro, Baldock was so isolated up front yesterday because we made the game so easy for Boro, keeping the ball is great for a side like Barcelona who can then work the ball to the last third and punish sides, we looked so in fear of leaving ourselves open at the back we failed to really take the game to the opposition at any point!

The lack of options in front of the fullbacks then made them panic and lose the ball.?

    Sort it out for Tues..

I have also worried about the midfield being lightweight and i am in a quandry about reid, Yes JET had a howler yesterday but he can turn a game in an instant.
I was massively frustrated by how narrow we were , i said to my mate that Bryan had obviously been told to stay narrow, which left us with no width and no attacking threat.
Why oh why do we keep hitting long balls in the AIR to our smallest front man Baldock, he was isolated and feel for him.
For me personally Fielding is too small and doesnt command his box and defence, so Parrish must come in IMO.
I thought that apart from one or two passes, for heart workrate and battling qualities Pack stood out for me as my City MOTM.

Firstly when a player does not play well it's not because he's not trying.

Bobby Reid is going to have a great career - yesterday he was not as influential as in other games. We have to take into account that he was not 100% match fit as he had a knock in the week, and the formation we played did not get the ball to him enough in areas where he can hurt other teams.

For Packs range of passing to be effective he will need movement in front of him across the width of the pitch, Jet did not offer this yesterday. he kept needing to turn back as the options kept getting shut out to easily. with Bryan being tucked in this made the situation even worse. easy for Peterboro to pick us off.

Reid was not at it yesterday.
What banksy said was correct about inconsistent young players.

However, until they scored Reid was doing a marking job on their No8. A role not suited to a player like Reid. A 'dog' yes but not Reid.
After they scored (thanks Fielding) Reid's role was changed and could never get back in the game like the other 9 outfield players - the stuffing was hit right out of us.
As a team we're so fragile, especially without Marvin.
At these difficult times you need players to 'show' - Marv always does and Pack did yesterday.

As for Jet, I'd play him Tuesday, he's the nearest thing we have to a 'threat'.
Agree,on yesterday's showing, an inconsistent threat but nevertheless I'd still play him.

Parish must start, Fielding has to pay for yesterday.
At the back I'd play Carey alongside Flint.
Yeh, his legs blah blah, but we need a proven leader back there and equally a player who can organise.
No doubt Marv will play and I'd pick Reid, Pack and Bryan for the 4 midfield spots.
Up front I'd play Baldock and let JET float.

Let's be solid, we have to start somewhere.

I wouldn't be overly upset to lose Wagstaff from Midfield and go with that.

If Marvs does come back in he needs to sit in front of the back 4 and break up play. (get forward for set pieces etc obviously) and then give the ball to Pack, Reid And Bryan.

Could work well as a diamond but we would need Shorey back in the defence. I would also be happy for Parish to come in, Fielding isn't setting the world alight is he.!
