Harry says he wants a top level job in English football again.

Knowing his reluctance to move from sandbanks, he would have to be able to commute to his next place, which does rather limit his choices.

So what clubs do you think he might be interested in, should the manager's spot become available?

Would you take him back if he was only allowed to spend his own money?

It would be like stepping back in time.

Instead of wages being electronically transferred using BACS, it will be back to pay-packets - in brown envelopes of course <laugh>

Harry did highlight the need to improve the infrastructure during his tenure at Fratton Park, alas his suggestions were ignored!!

I have it on good authority that once the masseur down the road at St.Fairies gets the boot (because they have no points at all and are unlikely to get any at all until at least mid September), he is to be offered the Scummers job again as whilst now contracted to the BBC he really does not want to be a full time TV footy pundit but rather a manager/coach again<ok> <laugh> Maybe he could take them down again for us!<laugh>

I don't want to say West Ham but it's almost too obvious.

I really hate to say this - and I can't believe it - but I agree with SB3 (the skate bstd) I can see Harry returning with Joe and the rest I spend all our money. Personally I want to keep Adkins but I loved Harry at Saints (which makes me unique) anyway what will be will be ...

Actually rednright, you may not be too far off the mark there - Cortese has definitely said that he wants to achieve Champions league and Harry has been on target there.......... but...... it might be the clash of the titans between the two of them. Would be interesting to watch (from afar).

I don't get the reluctance of players and managers to ply their trade overseas. If I had the opportunity to work in somewhere like Spain or France or Italy or Greece or Cyprus, I think I might take it!

'Arry back at St. Marys ? - you really couldn't write the script !

Mind you, I reckon he would get more out of the Saints players than poor old Nige - I think Nige would struggle to arrange a "pi$$ up in a brewery", little alone sort out Saints poor defence. I think 'Arry would keep them up.

I can think of one reason, something which is very important to dear old Arry... $$$

I can understand that to some extent, but it's possible to overcome it. If you know you're going to move to a team in a non-English speaking country when the transfer window opens (after it's agreed say in May or something), then you have a few months in which you can use to learn the basics of that language.

Personally, if I could afford it I would love to apply to learn both Arabic and Japanese through Rosetta Stone. Not for any specific reason, just because it'd be fun I imagine, plus I so badly want to travel to Japan.
