Has been stretchered off against Norwich. Sound very nasty. Neck brace, oxygen mask. Hope it's not a broken neck.

That's a nasty one, we all know that he goes to ground to easily but this time he was poleaxed.

    Fingers crossed he's ok

From a Chelsea journo off Twitter.

Word on Drogba is that he has only just come around in the medical room after being out cold for almost half an hour. More when I get it.

No serious injury to Drogba: looks like just concussion. I say 'just' concussion, but that is of course quite major in itself

    From the BBC site:

    1732: BREAKING NEWS
An update on that Dider Drogba injury from Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas: "He will have a full exam. He was completely unconscious. The doctor did a great job. He is showing progressive signs of recovery but we need a full exam which is being done. We hope for his wellbeing as a person first."

For Christ's sake are you for real? I know Drogba goes down quicker than the Titanic given the chance but that was pretty scary stuff <peacedove>

Yeah you can tell he was out of it on his way down, the way his body shape didn't change.

The way his face just hit the ground made me shudder.

    Best of luck to him.
