Just noticed this thread... To be fair, Gary Neville, in all his wisdom said numerous times how crap Ramires had looked on the ball then whack! Top corner. Drogba can still finish even if his legs have gone.
To the contrary, one of the nicest guys in football in fact. I wouldn't care about his looks to be honest, not something I look for in a good footballer.
He comes across as being arrogant and nasty, and that suggests that he's at the right club to suit his personality
Arrogance is a streak in many great sportsmen, he's been up there with the best for years, won the lot for club and a lot for country. Never considered him a nasty player to be honest, I'd say he's a bit theatrical but I wouldn't say nasty. The club is a different story, but Drogba, despite him being a thorn in our side so often, is a player I've got a lot of respect for. He donates every penny he earns commercially, to his charity.
I forgot to mention him being a cheat, too . . . . sorry ! You seem to know him better than I, so I accept, and respect, your opinion He still comes across as an 'arse' though, Terry
You don't have to accept my opinion, you're more than entitled to think he's an arse! He did you lot a favour last night anyhow, he deserves some concession for that
Agree with Juan. The legs die a whole lot faster than the brain does. Drogba can still bury it in anyone's net. Personalities never bothered me. Was there ever a more arrogant man than Brian Clough? I'd ignore that for his goals right now.
