    G&T
Pimms No. 5, with lemonade , ice and a little mint , but only if Im sitting out on the lawn or , occasionally , pavillion.
An unoaked chardonnay on a hot, still afternoon ,served in a wide tumbler NOT in a wine glass , thats just so declasse
A fine Rioja in the evening

As you would perhaps expect , the scots drinking reputation still holds strong in the colonies here ; many an australian has asked me about scottish beer consumption...I always give them the same answer ; "beer is for amateurs"

Thought long and hard before posting this on a forum mainly populated by Scots, but Jim Beam and lemonade is the one for me (I know, I know!), but I'm also partial to the odd decent real ale.

Drink scotch too, mainly Glenfiddich, but my favourite one I've ever tried was a particularly nice limited edition Glenfarclus.

Badger brewery is excellent. Have you tried their Blandford Fly? Not easy to get hold of but Sainsbury's sell it.

Slow gin - make that too.

Bramble whisky - always get a bottle or two to see me over Christmas and New Year.

Not sure I'd want to drink a smelly finger - unless it's from a furry cup ;)
