    Anyone on here been caught?

I am up in court in a couple of weeks time, got done over the weekend with 93 micrograms of alchohol per 100 millilitres of breath,
the drink drive limit is 35 micrograms per 100 mills of breath.

Also charged with ----------- leaving the scene of accident [got caught 2 hours later]
    ----------- reckless & careless driving.
    ----------- Speeding.

What do think i should expect in court ?

about 5 years off the road and a suspended sentence of 18-24 months and a big fine would be my estimate

You deserve to be forced to watch newco games for the next 3 seasons.

Also, you should have a bamboo skewer rammed up your japs eye.

Which do you reckon would be the most painful?

I was on 70mg, I was on my mobile hence driving without due care, failed to report and left the scene. Got a 20 month ban and a £550 fine.

Not so much bothered about the fine, just hopeing the bans not so severe.

Tina, i think i would rather have the skewer, but the thought of it makes me cringe.

Knocked down a 30mph sign, went through a dry stone dyke & left my car on a railway line. [never spilt a drop]

Your getting it tight from the courts your only chance at leniency is if your work is 100% dependent on you driving (your a mechanic thats required to be on call or something)

That being said you are a **** and deserve what ever you get.

I hope you are tied to the back of a car by your bollocks and dragged round a dirt track with a thousand double edged nails inserted into your body by a very nasty person <ok>

    Scumbag <ok>

That's your opinion, and you are entitled to it; but you are wrong.

More than two and a half over the limit means you're a bloody danger. I'm all for a 5 year suspension.

I bet it wasn't the first time you drove while over the limit, right? Probably if you get away with it the first time, it becomes a habit. My brother used to do it back in the day, we'd all go out on a night out and we encouraged him just by getting in the car with him. Eventually, he got nicked and banned.

I've never drove with more than one pint in my system. It just ain't worth it, for others and yourself.

For the drink driving alone 18-24 month ban, fine £500 plus and community service. You'll probably get quite a bit of community service given the other charges.

Just be remorseful, not sorry for yourself in court. Judge may have some sympathy, doubt it though

Get on with life though. You ****ed up and made a mistake. Learn from it, don't mope. Every day you have to catch a bus or walk, remember its your fault

Get yourself along to a few AA meetings before your court appearance. Then tell the magistrates you have a drink problem and are trying to do something about it. Might work, plus you might learn something in those meetings.
