I think we do sign both. Davies, Matip and Phillips should be sold, and Gomez and VVD need some time to get back to peak levels. Schalke are relegated and in financial ruin which means I think we can get kabak for much less than £18m.
We don't generally sign players for short term benefit, no way we sign a second whilst Jo-Go and VVD "get back on their feet". TBH, I'm more interested to know how the outgoing players is that's going to raise the funds to pay for these incoming players
Kabak would be a long term solution. Only 21, and has adapted pretty well considering the circumstances. Can play both sides of the defence which means he can play alongside VVD as well. Still early days but he’s passed his probation for me
Yes pal. Bought him for £1.5m I think. He was nothing more than a signing to appease fans during a defensive crisis. Worst case scenario, we flip him for a profit.
I don’t think kabak would be short term given he’s 20 and been on our radar for a while. can see him coming and maybe even loan out for a season while Matip sees out one more year before moving on. Or klopp wants 5 cb’s after the issues this season
BREAKING: Fenway Sports Group reject £3billion offer for club | Thiago agrees with Klopp http://e.mirror.co.uk/_act/link.php...668bd72ec4bc24e50420da61a16e4d906&tId=4070555
Being reported in the Echo too. An offer from the Middle East turned down and also reporting their are other potential bidders waiting in the wings - whatever that means.
I somehow doubt fsg rejected 3 billion bid. I would suspect it's a recycled old link that was denied before. Btw theres nothing more of a give away than someone adding a "few other bidders" just to pad the thing. There are not too many with a spare 3 billion down the sofa to move on lfc as an opportunity
