The rumours are that our main CB targets are Upemanco or Jules Kounde. The common trait between them is their aerial dominance, which is why I don't think we will go for players like Ben White or Conor Coady.
.@RMCsport reporting this evening (during their #LIVSHU match commentary) that Liverpool are set to make Schalke an offer for Ozan Kabak, and want the deal tied up before the Jan window opens. AC Milan also interested, Schalke would want somewhere between €30m and €40m.
I wouldn't mind Kobak but he's quite aggressive and rash. I would prefer someone like Upemecano though.
Do we not have to wait till January to make any signings anyway? If a player is out of contract, does that make any difference?
Where have they said that? Normally club would just say silent on transfer rumours so would be surprised if they came out and officially rubbished it?
Puts Everton's #bentasfuck but still only £30m deal into perspective @Tobes @PJS - BACK AND BOSSING IT
Your deal was a scam for Usmanov to inject cash into Everton, which you gleefully celebrated at the time, and yet is still only a fraction of LFC's legitimate deal. #bigclub vs #smallclub
don’t think he realises, that was the fee to have first option on bidding rights for a stadium not yet built.
It was something along the lines of being surprised by the link "according to the Liverpool Echo , the club have been left scratching their head over the Kabak claims." "Liverpool are putting the reports down to ‘exuberant work of an agent’, while they see Schalke as a team that is desperate for cash. As a result, the news surrounding Kabak could be to help build interest for the defender. Liverpool have also been linked with RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano"
Is the new stadium still on to be built this decade or not? Don't worry, we'll keep winning PLs and CLs while you work on securing stadium loans
So what you have done is talk up the Moshiri takeover, waste hundreds of millions of pounds, and watch us lift every trophy in the world.
