If Dembele is £60m, Klopp will want him imo....he won’t get him in the current climate but he has always said, if he’s available, we’re interested.

    His injury record is atrocious.

Wouldnt want us to go anywhere near him for that reason alone, not to mention the stories of regularly being late for training.

You’re right. His hamstring is made of cheese straws and for a player who is all about pace that’s not ideal.

Anyone who takes him before he’s truly proven his fitness after his latest hamstring tear is barmy imo.

I just checked it. You’re spot on, he’s missed 34 games through injury since last November.

We don't sign players with poor injury records, they wouldn't be able to cope with our style

Barcelona open to Ousmane Dembele transfer as Liverpool ponder late swoop
Ousmane Dembele has been linked with moves to Man Utd and Liverpool as doubt continues over his Barcelona future and the transfer window winding down
Barcelona are prepared to offload Ousmane Dembele before the transfer window shuts with Liverpool a potential destination.
The Frenchman has struggled with injuries since his mega money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
And new Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is ready to usher the forward towards the exit door.
The emergence of Ansu Fati and the return of Philippe Coutinho is set to further hinder Dembele's opportunities.
Premier League duo Manchester United and Liverpool have been credited with interest in the 23-year-old, reports SPORT.
United look set to sign Edinson Cavani on a free transfer which may close one of those doors.

Hmmm, good point. Was basing it on a article I read a month or so ago about what the club look at when signing players. Avoiding players with poor injury records that effects high energy and pressing requirements.

    Yep

Then had constant back/shoulder injuries, think he managed about 30ish games in his whole career. Retired early because of his continuious back injuries. Probably the most injury prone player there's ever been

    Wikipedia time:
    Kirkland 1998-2016: 321 club games
Michael Stensgaard: 1993-2001: 36 club games

    He retired at 26
