If Mane leaves, the window is a disaster no matter what else happens. Very much doubt he'll be leaving though
Talks between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers for Jota are at an advanced stage and the fee for the 23-year-old Portugal forward is expected to be more than £35 million. #awlfc [@_pauljoyce]

Michael Edwards strikes again. I think the club has made the decision that Hoever and Brewster may not make it and are cashing in. There are some good players in the Academy at the moment and the player I am looking to break through is one James Balagizi.
I'd rather have Jota than sarr for sure. I'm a bit iffy about Hoever leaving. I guess the club know best but I am slightly concerned about the CB position as Matip gets injured regularly and so we're a bit light if something happened to VVD or Gomez.
Jota, along with Jimenez, impressed me last season far more than Traore ever did and I thought they'd be great fits for us with Klopp. As a rotation forward, Jota will a good pickup. Tsimikas, Thiago and Jota would be a very good window. Just need a CB backup now. On the outgoings, I'm confident in the club to make the right calls. The only ones we've sold who've perhaps gone on to become the player we hoped they could be have been Luis Alberto, Suso and maybe Ings - although it was the injuries that were his problem. Everyone else sold has been spot on.
Jota announced tomorrow then. Interesting player. Young enough that can still develop but proven in the league and can chip in with goals. Solid player to rotate that. Happy.
