    The Premier League are discussing the proposal of a 'hybrid' summer transfer window...
    - CAN'T buy from a fellow English club once the season has started.
    - WILL be allowed to buy from European clubs, until the normal window closes.

    Quite like that suggestion tbf

    I dont see why its isnt the same for all leagues? What benefit does it offer to have barca and juve buying players when we cant? Ive never really thought about that deeply tbh but on the surface it seems like a disadvantage.

    Liverpool have been linked with a swoop for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz after reportedly having a £47million bid for Isco rejected.

    Ruiz has emerged as one of Europe's best midfielders since joining Napoli from Real Betis in 2018.

    The Spain international would be a useful addition to Jurgen Klopp's midfield as Liverpool target glory in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

    I think it will be a disadvantage too. I wouldn't have wanted to be in a situation where we couldn't sign Virgil because of a new rule like this. (I know it didn't happen like that but it could have done).

    I can see the FA not wanting to disrupt teams once the season has started but if they can still be sold abroad, what are they actually trying to do?
