Manchester United and Liverpool have been warned by RB Leipzig that they do not intend to let Timo Werner leave the club. Werner is spearheading Leipzig's Bundesliga title bid having developed into one of the top strikers in the German top flight. His fine form has led to increased speculation he could head to the Premier League with Liverpool and United linked with a move. United are understood to be preparing to hijack Liverpool's move for their long-term target to solve their attacking woes - but Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has issued them a clear message by insisting they have no intention to sell. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/timo-werner-transfer-warning-sent-20811923

Think everyone, except ManU and Arsenal hierarchy, knew this was going to be the case. Why would a player playing in the CL and has seen both clubs playing want to go to them. Arse and Manure need to aim lower, they need to find players like Coutinho or Salah, someone who is looking for a second chance, or buy from lower clubs. Rather than trying to convince themselves they can still get 'in-demand' players. They ain't going to get Haarland either if the likes of Real, Bayern or City decide they're interested
I keep forgetting that we have a 2 week winter break in Feb. Am pretty sure that Klopp will be trying to get to that point to recover without buying anyone unless we have a major injury problem.

perhaps not Sancho as think BD would want a huge fee plus his wages are supposedly North of £150kpw .However we should have money available without selling for a cheaper buy .
Memphis Depay is being linked with us. Hope not, he was crap at Utd and his off field activities are not what the club want.
