looks like we have two **** teams wanting clyne. I smell a bidding war. Fulham and Cardiff... he's bound to head for London.
I doubt we can afford it. we need to see if klopp wants to try lewis or not. how many free kick taking full backs do we need.
Yeah... he seems a decent player. like taa.... the thing is there's a big leap to prem and he is making it but there's another leap to top top club and he might only be able for lb there. we are seeing Harry Wilson now fully in his stride and having convinced lampard to release him from being glued to left wing. hes going to have a great ywar in championship but the same questions will be asked about his ability to play in prem. we need 2 players for every position we can rely on. (old debate) left full certainly doesn't have that. we have 4 cbs. we don't have 2 right fulls if we sell clyne midfield needs to be resolved. let's just say needs will become very clear shortly. upfront has 3 on long deals but then the next 3 are a big question
Sessegnon looked totally out of his depth in the early part of the season but has improved in last few weeks without looking particularly good but then its not like Fulham were playing well as a team. We must be looking at FB(s) for possibly Jan but certainly next season. The MF will need to wait & see how Keita & Fabinho settle to life in the PL.
Fabinho insists he has no plans to leave Liverpool following speculation linking him to an early Anfield exit. The midfielder has been the subject of rather tenuous rumours hinting at a swift departure in light of his limited playing time since arriving from Monaco in the summer.
in general i agree. The u23s are not a good level but if sheff utd don't want to even try to honour their deal then we should pull the player and black list the manager and club. They are having a fine time right now but they are only 6th in the championship table. they could be 12th or 3rd depending on how the go on a run or not. In the end if they've taken our player and its not worked out ok but when we have to step in just to give him 90mins in u23 game to keep some semblance of fitness even theres something quite quite wrong. We know the player isn't a lazy git. Clearly whoever picked this club for this loan didn't match desired styles and such and the deal hasn't punished them for not giving him game time. Theres zero point loaning a player with no assurance of game time.
It does but due to "tradition" LFC are not allowed a b team in the league. My view is: a) loans are the lifeblood of small teams who can't afford to buy players b) too many loans are allowed c) clubs with extremely dodgy links into European clubs are exploiting this hugely. If B teams were allowed: a) some clubs would rise to championship level. some would not b) some clubs would be bringing a 5/7k gate in off these games and bring maybe an away following that would boost or teams gates. c) far more english players would come through system than do now. d) some clubs would be badly affected as loans would not occur as much, for both loaner and the clubs who depend on getting 2 or 3 a year on the cheap.
